From Ephesians 4:22, we see that we are called to be disciples - to learn from and live like Christ. 

From Ephesians 4:20-21, we see that A good Christian birth emphasises both repentance and faith - turning from old ways of thinking, and turning toward Jesus and His way of life. 

From Ephesians 4:17-19, we see that our nature - our new creation - is to guide how we live in every way. 

From Ephesians 4:16, we see how we are to pursue knowing and using our spiritual gifts—always motivated by love and service.

It’s Jesus’ will that the church grows, however, we must allow Jesus to teach us what true growth is. 

From Ephesians 4:15, we are drawn back to the crucial truth that Jesus alone is the head of the church. Therefore, we are called to seek and maintain a healthy, living connection with Him.

From Ephesians 4:15, we see that true unity, maturity, and spiritual strength grows as God’s people learn to speak the truth in love.

From Ephesians 4:14, we see that the Holy Spirit gives spiritual gifts so that the church may become mature and able to stand firm in the spiritual battles we face.

From Ephesians 4:13, we see that the gifts Christ gives grow the church to maturity - the fullness of Christ (the church becomes like Jesus). 

From Ephesians 4:11-12, Let’s briefly reflect on the range of spiritual gifts that Jesus gives to His church. 

From Ephesians 4:11–12, we see that the gifts God gives to His people are designed to equip the church to serve Jesus.

From Ephesians 4:8–11, we see that Jesus has ascended as King and Lord, and that He Himself gives spiritual gifts to His church, as He determines.

From Ephesians 4:7, let us be freshly encouraged that God has given grace-gifts to each one of us.

From Ephesians 4:6, we see that our loving unity flourishes when we truly understand our adoption by grace.

From Ephesians 4:5, we see that our loving unity is both formed and protected by our shared confession: one Lord, one faith, one baptism.

From Ephesians 4:3–4, we see that unity is a gift of the Holy Spirit - and because the Spirit loves unity, we are called to be faithful in protecting and practising it.

From Ephesians 4:2, we learn that Christian love is not primarily about emotion, but is expressed through humility, gentleness, and patience in our relationships with one another.

From Ephesians 4:1, we see that our lives are to reflect and honour the name of Jesus.

Today, we see that Paul’s prayer overflows into praise  - a doxology - reminding us that worship always flows from prayer and that worship also grows our faith to pray big things 

The Spirit’s empowering presence, develops Christ-like love for one another among us, as He also fills us with revelation of God’s love toward us.
