Jesus invites us to be with Him so as to make His mission our mission.

We can experience the peace of God by coming to Jesus in worship and hearing Him speak His peace over us.

Salvation is by faith in Christ who died as our substitute for our justification.  

Our attitude to others reveals our understanding of God and the gospel. 

True worship is the overflow of the experience of God’s grace.

Jesus celebrates over all who come to Him so can we also celebrate over all who come to Him? 

Wisdom for salvation and life are found in Christ and people often judge Christ by the outcome of our way of life!

True greatness is gifted to those in Christ and this is a gift that fills us with dignity and frees us to pursue the right things in life. 

True love, Like Jesus’ love, serves and honours people even if they may have failed us.

As with John, the real Jesus can be a stumbling block to many as He acts in ways that we didn’t expect.

At times of doubt and temptation, it’s important to talk to people who can genuinely help. 

Jesus raising of this man from death foreshadows our future bodily resurrection when Christ comes again.

We have the privilege of being able to pray about everything and God also gives us the ability to endure disappointment.

Jesus’ miracles often point beyond themselves to deeper spiritual truths such as our salvation being new life from death.

Jesus still works miracles but He doesn’t always do as we would want and this is hard and requires deep faith. 

Jesus wants us to see and experience His power and compassion and then go on to minister His power and compassion to others.

Effective prayer is inspired by scripture, may involve confession and will be motivated by compassion.

Effective prayer for healing is powered by faith and is in Jesus’ name.

All of God’s acts including salvation and healing are by His grace and not because we have any merit.

Jesus loves to see faith in us because faith - believing God - is at the heart of worship.
