From Ephesians 2:4-7, let’s reflect on God’s great purpose - the great ends - for which He has chosen us. 

The wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives leads us into an understanding of the mystery of God’s will. 

From Luke 21:5-37, whilst in this period of waiting for Jesus to come, He wants all of us to join His mission for the world. 

From Luke 21, Jesus teaches us to recognise and respond wisely to the signs of the times.

From Luke 21:5-37, we see that Jesus' promises come true and so let’s choose to trust Him. 

From Luke 19:11-27, we reflect on Jesus' judgment and the rewards for faithfulness.

There is great promise for this and the next life for those who will radically follow Jesus. 

From Luke 18:1-8, true faith is seen in faithful and persistent prayer because faith believes in God and His promises.

From Genesis 3:15, we see that Jesus was God with us, and yet, as a man, He was also struck by Satan. 

From Genesis 3:15, we reflect on the spiritual war that we are engaged in - a war that will be won because God has come to us in Christ. 

Let's reflect on the destiny of His church at that great wedding banquet when Jesus returns. 

Today, we consider how at the return of Christ, we will be raised and glorified. 

Each of us is to be a ‘faithful and wise manager’ in the ways that Jesus has called us to serve Him.

Each day we are to live as one ready and waiting for Jesus’ return.
