From Luke 13:22-30, we reflect on Jesus being the narrow way.

Today, we reflect on how God will complete the good work of salvation that He began in us.  

Today, we reflect on how Jesus is our sabbath rest. 

Today, we reflect on what is means to say ‘for me to live is Christ’. 

Today, we reflect on why rejoicing and taking refuge in Christ are at the heart of Christianity. 

Today, we reflect on what it means for us to be a person after God’s own heart. 

The death of others should inspire us to reflect on our death and whether we are ready to meet God in judgement. 

Jesus’ baptism into death plunges us into a new life that involves salvation and may attract rejection. 

‘The sign of Jonah’ is that as Jonah was 3 days in the depths of the sea, so Jesus’ 3 days in the grave and His resurrection lead to life.

To behave like a good neighbour is to be like Christ and to serve our enemies. 

We all need to keep coming back to the cross so as to avoid self-justification. 

Today we think about how God substituted Himself for us. 

When the Spirit fills a person or a church, the gospel is proclaimed, and people discover true riches, freedom, vision, and hope in Christ.
