What does it mean to be ‘in Christ and why is it only ‘in Christ’ that we can be saved and have the spiritual blessings that are available?

This week, we are looking at Ephesians 1:1-3. Today, we ask: what does it mean to have every spiritual blessing?

Continuing in Ephesians 1:3, we ask:  How is it that Jesus is divine whilst still having a ‘God and Father’? 

Why is praise our highest calling and why is it vital for a healthy Christian life?

A loving community is God’s will for us and a powerful witness to the world that Jesus is truly alive and at work among us.

A healthy church is devoted to praying together and praying for one another—especially when faced with challenges.

In Christ, we are united with our brothers and sisters to become a holy temple where His Spirit dwells.

The Spirit leads us to speak about and bring people to Jesus, who then go on to share Him with others. This is how movements of the gospel begin.

Evangelism means helping people to know both the gift of God and the gift-giver, and, so, let’s bring Him wisely into our conversations.

God has divine appointments for us - opportunities to help others see who He is.

Today, from the life of Ezekiel, we see that if we are to have a vision of, and an experience of living water, we must go to God personally and with great expectation. 

Today, from the life of Daniel, we reflect on our call to costly, faithful personal prayer.

Today, we briefly reflect on Jesus’ perfect example of personal devotion. 

How we can actually make drinking from Jesus - being filled with the Spirit - a daily reality. 

Do we truly believe that Jesus’ promise of living water is for us, or are we disqualifying ourselves?

Today, as we begin this new series, we reflect on how Jesus’ call to receive living water is for the thirsty—and we ask ourselves: Do I still have a healthy thirst for Him?

In the last devotional of this current series,  we explore Proverbs 11:24–31, which gives us a powerful vision of how the pursuit of righteousness leads us to bear good fruit for ourselves and others.

From Proverbs 11:14-23, let’s learn to seek true beauty -  pursuing the beauty of wisdom, righteousness and kindness over foolishness, bad choices and aggressive ambition. 

From Proverbs 11:9–13, we reflect on the value of discretion — the kind of wise, careful speech and conduct that protects and builds others and honours God.
