Holiness - a life of devotion to God - is the fruit that God wants to see in His people

Today, from Luke 13:4-5, we see how we are to handle the death of others by natural disasters and accidents. 

The death of others should inspire us to reflect on our death and whether we are ready to meet God in judgement. 

As people respond to signs they see in nature, so we are to believe the signs about Jesus and receive Him as Lord and Saviour. 

Jesus’ baptism into death plunges us into a new life that involves salvation and may attract rejection.

Through generosity, we are rich toward God because serving people is serving God

Greed is an enemy that we must constantly guard against.

Jesus wants to give you courage by promising that He will give you the help of the Holy Spirit when you are under pressure. 

The unforgivable sin of blasphemy against the Spirit is the ongoing rejection of Jesus. Those who receive Christ cannot be in such a state..

We will publicly acknowledge our faith if we are filled with a vision of the greatness and love of God. 

We must overcome our fear of people with the love of God 

We must overcome our fear of people with the friendship and fear of God.

Let the light of Christ cast out our inner darkness, or let the light of Christ reveal your darkness in judgement.
